iOS 10 "people" album.

Does anyone know which albums Photos on iOS 10 uses as sources for the new "People" album?

As far as I can tell it scans Camera Roll and Videos but ignores Photostream.

I tend to clear my Camera Roll after I sync to iPhoto as otherwise I get duplication in the Photos tab (or at least I do if I sync, say last 3 months)
